Common questions

How do I use the circle?

Drag files onto the round circle on your desktop. It splits into actions (Compress, Convert, Move, and Merge when you drop two or more images or PDFs). Release over the one you want. Drop in the middle to see every option.

Roundy asks for access to a folder. Why?

Mac App Store apps can only touch the folders you allow. Roundy needs a folder's permission to save a result next to your file or to move it. You are asked once per folder. Choosing a parent folder, such as your home folder, covers everything inside it.

Are my originals changed?

No. Compress, Convert and Merge save new files next to the originals. Moves can be undone from the result bubble.

What is free, and what does the unlock include?

Compress, Convert and Merge share 150 free uses. Moving files is always free. The one-time Lifetime Unlock removes the limit.

I bought the unlock on another Mac.

Open the main window, click the gear, choose Unlock Full Version…, then Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account.

圆圈怎么用？

把文件拖到桌面上的圆圈里，圆圈会分成几块：压缩、转格式、移到；拖入 2 个以上图片或 PDF 时多出「拼接」。松在哪一块就执行哪个操作，松在中间可以看到全部选项。

为什么要我授权文件夹？

Mac App Store 的 App 只能访问你允许的文件夹。要把结果存到原文件旁边或移动文件，就需要那个文件夹的权限。每个文件夹只问一次，选它的上层文件夹（比如你的个人文件夹）可以一次授权里面的所有位置。

会改动原文件吗？

不会。压缩、转格式、拼接都是在原文件旁边另存新文件。移动文件可以在结果气泡里撤销。

免费和付费的区别？

压缩、转格式、拼接共享 150 次免费额度，移动文件永远免费。一次性购买「终身解锁」后不限次数。

在另一台 Mac 上买过了？

打开主窗口，点齿轮，选「解锁完整版…」，再点「恢复购买」，用同一个 Apple 账户登录即可。
